There are some changes coming to the library. Throughout the remainder of 2009 and spring 2010 the Ottumwa Public Library will be making a transformation. Thanks to several generous estates, the library will be able to renovate. To give you a sneak peek, we will be taking out an upstairs wall and putting up a wall downstairs in the meeting room. There will be a brand new teen area and genealogy area, as well as new furnishings and a spiffy new look for our public to enjoy. The Reference/Computer area will all be changed with the ability to put in a lot more computers. Stay tuned and we will keep you posted on the renovations as they take place. (There may be a little dust along the way but it will all be worth it in the end!)
