Logging into your account

Knowing how to login to your account is an important step in learning how to use the online catalog. Anytime you wish to do something with your personal account, you will need to be logged in.

1. From the main catalog page at catalog.ottumwapubliclibrary.org click on the tab entitled My Account.
   
2. On this page you will be asked for two pieces of information. The first is the barcode number on the back of your library card. This number should be entered without any spaces or dashes.
   
   Then, you will be asked for your PIN. By default, your PIN will be the last 4 digits of your phone number. If your pin does not work. Try any possible phone number that you may have given the library (work, cell, message…). If none of these work, call the library for help. You will be asked to verify your personal information in order to protect your privacy.
3. With both your barcode and your PIN entered, click on the Login button.
